Fathom’s site ID is the entire setup. The script loads on every public page of the blog, sets nothing on the visitor’s device, and needs no consent banner.
How the Fathom integration works
What it does
- The site ID is the whole configuration.The short block of capitals from your Fathom site settings. Nothing else to fill in.
- Cookieless by design.No cookies means no consent banner in the UK and EU, and no personal data leaving your blog.
- Every public page of the blog.Posts, homepage, category and tag archives, search. Route changes inside the blog are counted too.
- Admin previews are never counted.Blog previews inside the Bloggable dashboard are skipped, so your own clicking about stays out of the numbers.
How to connect it
- 1Copy the site IDIn Fathom: Settings → Sites. It is the short capitalised string in the tracking snippet.
- 2Paste it into the blogBlog settings → Integrations → Fathom, then save.
- 3Confirm on the dashboardLoad the blog and watch Fathom’s live view.
