By Bloggable

Your posts, in your WordPress.

Connect a self-hosted WordPress site with an application password and finished posts arrive as native blocks — images in your own media library, categories and tags already mapped.

How the WordPress integration works

What it does

  • Native blocks, not pasted HTML.Headings, lists, quotes, images and buttons arrive as blocks the editor understands, so the post is editable in WordPress rather than one locked lump of markup.
  • Images land in your media library.Every image is uploaded into your own library and the featured image is set, so nothing on your site hotlinks back to ours.
  • Categories, tags and byline map across.Choose them once when you connect. The meta description is written too, when Yoast or Rank Math is installed to receive it.
  • Nothing is ever deleted.Unpublishing sets the post back to draft. Bloggable never issues a delete against a site it does not own.

How to connect it

  1. 1Generate an application passwordIn WordPress: Users → Profile → Application Passwords. It has been core since 5.6, so there is nothing to install and no plugin to keep updated.
  2. 2Paste the site address and the passwordBloggable finds the REST root, checks the account is allowed to publish, and stores the credential encrypted.
  3. 3Map it, then arm itPick the category, tags and author each post should use, and decide whether publishing happens automatically or waits for you to press the button.
